maybe from headlight heat too, not sure

I've noticed that in my car too...
Both bumpers did that for me... after the crash the new bumper did the same thing.
It's just a design flaw.

yeap, too much heat causes it to bubble up. ive got a little on the drives side. ive heard that you can take a hair drier and heat up that section and press it down. havent tried it yet. kinda skeptical.

i mentioned this in another thread.....take some 3M body molding tape (NOT poop u use to mold bodykits....the stuff that holds on moldings, like on our doors) Pull off the bumper and put some between the foam and the bumper. I havent tried it, was going to but then gotta kit. Im sure it would work. so somebody try it and be like BOOYA,.....I fixed my bubble and its all thanx to oldsmopimp. :)

Yes sorry to those whose aleros I used. I thought my car only did this because of an accident (unfixed) but I was surprised to see a lot of other Aleros like that.

 My Bloo car has yet to do that, and it is a '99. I find it odd that it occurs predominantly on that side though. I take care of my car, however, the previous owner abused it and it still never got that bumper bump.

My 03 looks like it is starting to do this as well. Just one more "common" alero problem to add to the long list.

I don't feel so bad. I figured mine was the result of a run in with a snowbank and an F250. Suck it, Overdrive75, it's not my fault!

yeah, jk, it does have a bit of a bump on each side, however it is hard to tell from my picture! i have a dip in the front of my hood, but that is from the previous owner beating it or something =/ lol. My car has been totaled twice tho, once by be, once by its previous owner..ick.

so about this dip... i just skimmed this thread so someone already suggested it but i have the same prob... i think i'm gonna squeeze a small length of angle iron in there with some epoxy and straighten the poop out...

no it won't. his kit is fiberglass, and the warping only happens with polyurethane.
