k what are coilovers?!

Wayfastwhittie
05-17-2005, 03:44 PM
coilovers are springs that coil over your shocks some are adjustable. you can adjust them by turning the nut that goes under the spring to rise it or lower it

Alero04
05-17-2005, 03:54 PM
so are coilovers cheaper or more pricey then say...Sprint springs?
bc i notice they give a lower drop

Youngblood77
05-17-2005, 05:11 PM
OMG no...coilovers are much more expensive, Sprints should run ya roughly $170.00 shipped. I'd post my ride, but Molson's got Sprint / Springtechs covered already ( Not only that, but his car's nicer looking than mine )

Alero04
05-17-2005, 05:15 PM

Youngblood77
05-17-2005, 06:02 PM
I couldn't venture a guess close enough to be within $250.00, but let's just say they're out of reach for the average aleromodder.
