Hin In Chicago...

Hey all, me and a couple of my friends are road tripping down to Chicago for Hot Import Nights on the 10th of June. We won't get to chicago until probably 8pm that night but If anyone wants to hook up and have a couple drinks post up in here. Also, if anyone around that area whats to have a small meet saturday afternoon that would be awesome. The show doesnt start until 5 and goes until midnight. I know there are quite a few alero modders down in that region so post up if your interested in doing something one of those days. Here is some info about the show;

We are staying in the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel I believe. I'm not sure what way we are taking down there, but if some of you want to come along your more than welcome. It should be a fun weekend so everyone that is interested post up.

do you plan on attending the show itself on saturday? If so, you should come early and we could meet up at either our hotel or an easy location near the show. I wil wait until more people post up to see what they want to do.

Update for those who are interested(Wild & Silent)
We are leaving here at 8 so we should be there around 8 friday night.
We will get moved into our hotel and then I will call you two and meet you guys at TGI Fridays @ 153 East Erie Street, Chicago, IL 60611. Post up if you have any more ideas.

it's so darn expensive in the city too. If i wasn't watching my money for the ass show, i would go. I'll be spending money on parking the next day though. If someone else wanted to drive that be cool, but probably won't happen. so maybe next time.

Ok well i just got the phone call, they are leting me judge for chicago HIN.

Friday im down for dinner, but sat i have to be there at 11am for prejudging and setup, because my car and 2 nissans from the dealership are going to be there so im gonna have a busy ass morning.

meeting at TGI Fridays friday night, pictures before the show on saturday, then the show till midnight, then I dont know what marc has up his sleeves. Pm your cell and I will give you a call.

Well heres my scedule for that weekend, its busy as fok

Friday morning

11am - 8pm - Have to be at Mcormick to check in cars, and to bring in and setup the dealer booth

Friday night - 10pm the pre HIN party starts at Zentra, so I'll be there till 5am

Saturday morning

10am - Back at Mckormick to get prepped with judging, then go around and finalize the setup of the dealership booth.

3-6pm - im gonna be judging the cars so that time is taken, then from the night on im free.

oh 12am till whenever, - after party for HIN :)

This was my first HIN and honestly, it was what I expected. I wish the models weren't all 15-16 and there were some cars that should have stayed in the damned parking lot. But all in all, I enjoyed it.

I have about 600 pictues coming one I find time after work this week. And I was very unimpressed with the turn out of the alero members. I only had two of you call me...you know who you are. Oh well. The show was great but I agree with what most of you said. 20 - 30 of those cars prolly should have stayed in the parking lot next to the dumpster.
