Ok so with the installation of this sounds system I am getting I want to ensure that none of my stock components are disturbed or broken. I am planning on getting a performance alternator, a yellow top optima and Im going to replace all my fuses just in case. The part that I need help finding is a performace ALtenator for a alero..anyone done this, have one, know where to get one, anything?

depends on your engine, but i've seen them on e-bay for 300 bucks, but i know you can get them for less

Ohio Generators is the best place to go for high amp performance alt's.
they carry them for any year/make/model vehicle.with warranties

yea Im not looking to spend too mcuh more than i would for the stock one..maybe 100-200 more but thats all. IS there a link for ohio generators?
