Today i'm currently getting the razzi kit on and i have ran into problems with the side skirts. I have a 2000 4 door and do I take the old factorys off or leave them on? the directrions say to leave on but they look like poop. I think I should take them off but my dad insist on leaving them on unless I ahve proof other wise. anyone else put the kit on themselves or watch it done?

I believe you leave them on, but dont quote me on that unless I am correct.

Leave them on, the stock skirts have a lip that you rest the new skirts on.

I rest them on there? I thought that you had to slide them in somewhat?

yes, you leave them on. they should go right over the stocks. i rivoted my razzi sides to my stocks but most use screws. if you got the 1999 kit they may not fit perfect, as i know the 2000 razzi sides did not fit my 1999 4 door.

I have the 1999 kit what should I do for it? Should I try and rivit it on there?

I ran into the same prob bob...it just doesnt work...couple things you could do at this point. You could A. buy the 2000+ side skirts or B. you can find a 99 in the junk yard or somewhere and take off the factory side skirts and switch them out with yours...

hum, in that case, your best bet would be to go to a junkyard and pick up some 99 stock sides, that would be the easiest solution. you would take your 2000 stock sides off and put the 99's on, then put the razzi sides over the "new" 99 sides

or if you're handy you can modify the 99 razzi's to fit on your 2000 stocks. it's quite a pain in the ass to do 00+ on a 99 tho, never tried the opposite. i basically rivoted and molded in the razzi to the stock side with plastic repair.

Well what I was thinking of was just cutting into the side of the skirt becuase the problem is that the stock one is a lil to long and it won't fit int where its suppost to. So I was thinking maybe 1/4 or 1/2 inch cut off from the stock skirts.

on mine they used two sdied tape between razzi side skirt and stock side effect and then screwed a few screws from under the razzi up. it wouldnt budge when i kicked it

mine will move when kicked, but i kinda want that cause EVERYONE kicks them when they're checkin the car out cause the car sits so low
