It looks like the front emblem is embedded, did you shave it when it was removed to make it look decent?

Thanks.

Why would you want to? Really nice car, btw.

I love the front emblem, dignifies the oldsmobile.

I think those front emblems are glued on. I had to get a new front end on my Alero and there is alot of glue around the emblem sticking out.

yeah, but the bumper mold has an indentation for the logo, so if you shave it, it would still have the indentation. The only way to fix it would be to fill it in with fiberglass or I guess you could use bondo (though I don't know how well it would hold up) and repaint it. Either that, or get a body kit that doesn't have the indentation for the emblem.

I agree. All I've done is removed that insanely small "Oldsmobile" from the back...its now on my rear-view mirror and looks awesome.

Yea, it would take a lot of work to remove the front emblem. Keep it. I removed the "Oldsmobile" from the back of mine and the Olds logo, so all I have in back is "Alero." Oh, and my "Oldsmobile" is from a 2001 so its the bigger version, and I stuck it to the front drawer of my toolbox.

its not hard to remove the front emblem. I did that when i switched my silver emblems for gold ones. just use a hair dryer and dental floss and it comes off really easy
