Temiskaming Drag 'n' Fly Summer Classic

goin again this year...hoping to run a 15.7 or better run this year compared to my 16.1...

things i'm changin are puttin stock wheels on instead of 18's, 2.3HO intake manifold with good filter, and a good exhaust...back seat, sub, spare, and jack are out...

aside from the massive sunburn, it was fun...they decided to put street and fast and furious into one category so more competitors(40 or so)...my times SUCKED tho...it was too hot out...best i got was a 16flat...very disappointed that i didn't get to see some 15's...

anyways, saturday i got eliminated 3rd round..i broke out

sunday i made it to the quarter finals, but fell asleep on the tree, RT was .745 , but my dial in was right on(16.259 from my 16.200) but i still lost cuz the RX7 ran a .527 light...

was lotsa fun, have many pics, will post when i get 'em to my computer

2000 olds alero, what engine and mods do you have? you seem to be smoking the tires pretty good. i've got an ecotec with header, exhaust and intake and can only spin em for like 3 seconds at the most. whats the secret to gettin em to smoke?

2.4 5spd...intake exhaust and 2.3HO intake manifold...those tires are Michelin Alpine winter tires with 20lbs of air in 'em...i dunno what the hell was goin on with the 'ho that weekend, but she was runnin mean :cool:

whoa...i left too soon on sunday, i won 4th place because of some stupid thing..i think the other guy redlit his run...so i got me another drag racing trophy to add to my collection :beerchug:
