the bumper was in the way of the real situation....Sunday was a yucky morning to say the least.

I knew that, but I was merely getting the point across that the bumper wasn't the real problem with the car. the bumper was the problem for getting it home...which I think was a bit worse than the engine breaking. Cause and effect where the effect was worse than the cause, basically. IMO

Looks like a great turnout! The ruby red and opal colored 'Hos are H-O-T! I wasn't completely convinced about the AleroStyle hoods, but after seeing these pics the hood looks amazing on the cars! Nice job everyone!

In Michigan M plate is Manufacturer. If you see a car in MI that's XXMXXX (I think - I'd have to go look in his driveway to make sure, but the M is in the middle and it says manufacturer on the bottom) it's company owned. Most of them are development cars. He saw the barcode on the window first, then saw the M plate in the backseat. With the number on the barcode he should be able to track down where it is. At first he thought maybe someone was actually driving it around, but if it has an M plate they can't be using it as a personal vehicle. It definately has some miles on it though - did you see the seats?

All the cars look great. I never liked the big Olds emblem on the rear quarters of Sweet's car until I saw these pics. That car looks great. Still wouldn't have put an Olds emblem on the hood but that's just me.

^ me too. Although, Greg is sort of running out of things to do on the car without doing a major overhaul. Keeping that engine, it's almost as dressed up as it can get, and there doesn't seem to be any room to fit more engine mods in there. Just has the interior left.

I just thought of this, but it seems like there's something always going on with Greg's alero. If i remember most of the meets that i've been too, he's mostly took his cavalier with him. The ass meet and the bbq at oldsman in april, was the only 2 times I seen greg take his car.

This is going to be fun. Although I'd probably put my money down on rowdy, out doing the three of you.. UNless scott does come up and bite you all in the a$$. Here are my reasonings.... Yes I do believe that greg would probably get the most time for his car, but then again, he'll probably be doing other stuff to his car, that we would probably never see it for awhile. Therefore,, really making it Jon and Randy in the competition. But I 'm favoring the 2 door,less weight to throw around, and also depending what engine's you guys both have. So Jon and Greg sit down, all hands down for Randy. hahahahaha.

i wish i could join in the fun of engine building, but never going to happen so it is between jon and gregg for HP. and gregg still has the upper hand on me for shows and he is planning to work on that as well, so im still behind.

i agree it would be fun, though. my car will most likely be done after headers and a tune with a target of 200HP at the crank. once there my car will be on hold and focusing on a house so there will be a new place to have alero picnics :beerchug: . but thanks for the confidence lisa.
