I put up some pic's of my recent additions of STB's on my 2001 Alero (v6 of course).

they came from RSM Racing... Front was easy to install; the rear--had to alter the brackets to fit.

My Space w/ pics of the Alero (http://spaces.msn.com/members/dreviltwin/)

Well its good to see I wasnt the only one with the front RSM Racing STB that really didn't fit or fit really tight.

And jackal2000 he is running a ractive filter.

it's a ractive filter from my last car--it wasn't even 2 months old when the incident occured. I wasn't going to put it on but a friend of mine highly suggested it...it works and sounds really good!!! I'm pretty much done with upgrades for this year--the cost of gas is too high and hitting the bank account pretty hard

(fyi: it's over a $1/L in CDN$--works about $3-$4../gal I think USD$?

I noticed the difference when I put the rear one on...the front was a perfect fit but the rear needed modification to work right.

I'm enjoying the handling much better (just in everyday handling!!) the corners are a snap now!

edit: oh--dirty engine...yeah..I had it undercoated last fall because of all the heavy snow/salt on the roads. I've not had time or enough nice day to clean it a bit...
