My car is an Alero coupe 2000. Everytime I give my car a wash, either with the garden hose or pressure washer I get a leak on the drivers side window and it starts at the top crevice that the window rolls up into. Just to let you know I am not aiming the pressure or water directly up and at the crevice. I noticed that by comparing both sides, the passenger window rolls up a bit further into the crevice and that is why that side doesn't leak, but the drivers side window does not roll up quiet as far into the crevice.
Do I need new rubber or what here?
Anyone ever had this kind of problem with their Grand Am or Alero before and how did you fix it?
thanks to all who reply.

yeah jordan, take the car to have the window sash or the clips looked at, and i'll put money on the fact that it is one of those two issues. Also, after you replace/fix it, NEVER try and roll down your windows until the car heats up, cuz when you have to use extra force to roll down the windows when its cold, your really gonna damage them again... Get used to this problem, as I have found this to be an issue that keeps on happening in the last year and a half I have owned my "hoe" - prolly been fixed for the same/similiar problems like 5 times or more...

I think that day I saw you at Gauthier, you were getting the window fixed. Window sash and clips are what part if the window? Also to let you know I did roll the window up snug and it doesn't appear to be "snug" enough. This leaking issue was around in the summer time also. I was thinking maybe the rubber that the window rolls up into needs replacement so that there can be a proper seal. What do think?

Well frankly, my experience is that when the window becomes difficult to roll up, and has a leak it is normally the sash. When the glass looks like it aint snug enough up top, its normally the clips. Basically I think the sash is the guide on the track where the window rolls up, and the clips are what the window rests on attached to the arms. They are likely the cause of your problems, I cant see it being the rubber being the problem and if it is in fact a recall issue as DrpZone (matt on wpg heights claims) you wonthave to pay for it to be fixed, and its still worth looking into, and im sure that even if it weren the clips/sash while they had the car in the shop, they could check the rubber seal too. Meet me at the dealership tomorrow morning, cuz thats where im headed with my busted (apparently a Vacuum or Brake Booster) line to be fixed, so I'll prolly be there around 9:30 lol - it'll be a wpg aleromod meetup, hahahahaha :P Talk to you later dude, and keep us posted.

It's a common problem.
