Niagara Falls Again This Year?

Just wondering if there are plans for another Niagara meet this year. If there is I need to start saving my pennies now.

Besides I think we need another excuse for mass drunkenness and general stupidity. :alcoholic:

I'll try and check into hotel pricing this afternoon for September to see if there are any price breaks or anything.

Just so you know, all those people whining about having no money, and using that as the only excuse not to come out and have fun with a bunch of rowdy canajuns, can stay at my house. I have an extra bedroom, a couple couches and lots of floor space, and a huge backyard if you'd wanna do the tent thang. I partied till late, and just went home after afterwards. I got a pool too. I agree that we should stay away from the sept.11 weekend, so we're looking at sept. 16,17,18 or sept.23,24,25. we should think about starting a poll when everyone can find out whats best for them.

I wasnt sneaking... I was just really really drunk... and the shuffling was due to a problem with the floor staying level... it kept spinning and shifting on me. Worse than walking on the deck of a boat in a storm. :blink:

Here's the kicker: There's 2 or 3 large groups that are gonna be there that weekend, so there are NO rooms available for the Friday night. ( the night of the 23rd ) I ended up getting a room for Saturday night, but my impression was that there weren't many left even for just that one night, so if you're needing a room, better make the call or stop by real soon.

It was a real bummer when the lady told me there were no rooms available for the Friday night, looks like I'll just be staying over the 1 night. :(

Just phoned Thrift Lodge again. They've got like 5 rooms available (smoking only) for the weekend of Sept 30-Oct2. The Travel Lodge right next door has similar rooms and numbers as well but they are $20 more a night.

Thrift Lodge was 129 for friday, and 149 for saturday. and thats in canadian funds. You americans can go figure out what that works out to on your own.

i have the original weekend free, but will be making other plans if its gonna be the following weekend. And on the weekend of Oct.01, i have a wedding to shoot on the saturday, but will be around on the friday night and the sunday, same as last year. What about the grand am club, when are they meeting, 23,24,25 still or what?

I'm unfortunately going to have to cancel. I've got hit by too many unexpected expenses for the house. Spent 3k yesterday and looking to be close to another 1k this weekend. :pissed:

Like booking the hotel reservation through them. They have an option of paying by credit card, or a bill me later. the bill me later is subject to credit approval. I bought my airline tickets with bill me later.

It's a payment plan , and u get a statement in the mail, and payments can be low as 10 a month. depending on the amount of purchase.

lol, yeah that's true, but it might be a good idea for a emergency flight/hotel thing. U know when u have to visit family out of state at last minute due to an accident or something.

guys, if you wanna go budget, i already offered my house to anyone that wants to stay for any of the days of either weekend, for free. Can't get much cheaper then that, lots of room, big yard with a pool if you'd rather sleep in a tent, and it's free. You can party with everyone during the day, and just make your way back to my place with anyone else that wants to crash there at night. Just a thought for anyone thats having money problems all of a sudden.
