I have read about a couple of body kits for the Alero. Anyone know for sure how many there are?
Also, Anyone with the Razzi. How is the Fit and install?

razzi is prolly the easiest installation considering you dont take off your existing bumpers. just dont plan on raising your car on a hoist, lol

I think the Andys bodykit looks the best... but I am trying to get a company to make a wide bodykit for me.. Not as much the front, but the back... I dig the wider is better idea, and the wider the bodykit, the more extended my wheelbase can be... then drop it.. low and wide.. makes for wicked grip on the road...
If anybody knows anybody who could either teach me how to make or make a wide kit for my Alero, I would pay farely well.... as long as I get to see the design sketches before and put in my own input... so as to be unique... any info would be appreciated...

If you want to know how to make a home-made.... completely unique... and professional looking kit for your car... check this site out...
http://www.geocities.com/silverkit98/BodyKit1.html
It is worth a look... especially if you are like me... and can't stand other people's customs looking like your own.... the whole point of customizing.. is to customize.. to be different.. to not follow the normal... whateva' i'm blabbing.. just check out the site.. it's nice...

I'm curious to other peoples thoughts are on the geocities link provided. I'd give that a try if I could make the addition flow more naturally on the car (and a proper paint job)

I think that site I put up is interesting.. I am just not sure I have the creative genius to actually pull it off... and like it said on his site... people ask if it would be sturdy.. and he said it all depended on how much fiberglass you apply.
I don't know.. I am going to draw a body out, but I may wait to actually try what he is doing...

I think this looks great, along with the Andy's kit. It looks like the car is stock height, would that scrape on a lowered car. I don't have a body kit, but mine scrapes out of parking lots and stuff if I'm not carefull.

with the *** kit youll scrape on alot of slanted entrances, when i use to have it, that happened alot, luckily i was unpainted

I like the Andy's Kato kit the best. I would definitely have on if I still had my car :(. That OSV kit looks a little weird in the back. I would get the Kato front, OSV side skirts, and the Razzi rear bumper , if they would all match up.

here's a challenge for you photoshop guys....take the body kits and mismatch them to see what they look like...would help a lot of undecided people make a decision....just a thought

That custom designing and making ur own kit is a sweet idea, id like to know if its possible to mold the parts into the original bumper more than done on that car....without hacking the entire bumper up and by chance wouldnt u need to heat the fiberglass some?

I think he is talking about the exhaust design, which is a good question, how is the OSV gonna make room for the exhaust?

Was gonna PM ya the link to the makers, but it's not working. Either they're having server problems or they went out of business.

if and when the OSV gets made it will be flat across the bottom so you can do whatever you want.
but far as the actual look. there is plenty of room. If you say it in person you would like it and find out how really easy it is. except for the tips.

I think the OSV rear bumper would look hot with a cutout at either side and a chrome 3-3.5" exhaust tip...

When i get mine, i'm keepin it central. Nothing is impossible with custom work. I was thinking about dual, but duals kinda go hand -n- hand with performance, and that's not the approach i wanna take with my car. Pure show car

Yeah If i'm able to get one i'm also keeping it centered. I have even sketched out a set of tips that would resemble the concept but still allow me to keep my hitch and make it even more hidden than it is now

The closest thing to them are the Corsa GTR Tips (http://www.madhatterautocenter.com/Corsa/gtr.htm) but they are only sold with the entire system and i'm not about to pay 900 bux just for some tips. Someone on this board actually had the tips, but i forget who.

Hmm something I just thought of about custom making your own kit, to keep it from warping or forming waves in it, dont most companies heat the body kit up to "cure" it of sorts to prevent that stuff from happening?
