View Full Version : Removeing Spoiler

I want to remove that ugly spoiler from my car. I searched on this and came up with nothing, so sorry if its been talked about. Can someone explain to me how to do this, and when I do, how do I cover up the holes in the trunk(if there are any)

I am gunna do this once I know how so someone plz help me.
I am stitting on my ass lookin at my new headlights and I dont really like the corners.

unbolt it from the bottom, it has double sided foam tape so you have to cut through it while you pull/push it up, but be careful, i dented mine pushing up to hard. try a heatgun on the bottom to get the tape glue hot.


i put duct tape on the bottom, and used clear silicone to fill the hole to keep water out, you have to have somebody weld small plates over the bottom of the hole then fill them in and paint.

nah, if you're good with a welder you can just weld em shut without using plates, then grind down the extra metal, and use no filler ;)

i didnt have to cut through mine when i took it off i just pulled really hard. i did however have to when taking my old roommates off.
