As the titl;e says,

It's going to be a nice day today, could reach 91 but the huimdity will be below 50%.

I predict probably about a 15.45 or better today

I have in the ASE chip so hopefully it's more consistenant, now like last week, falling off it's dial by .1 second :glare:

OK first off, Mitch flexed so hard today he hurt himself   That was his own words.

Mitch kicked ass.

He cut 2 .001 lights, car stayed on target and he made it to the 5th round, The semi finals baby :thumb:

Corey, our raceing buddy, I guess buddyette, she only made it the the 2nd round, and did I, but SHE TOOK OUT THE NUMBER 2 POINTS LEADER :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: So a lot of people were very happy with her.

I did only go 2 rounds but the little cry baby bitch I raced in the first round took it personally. I was running 15.20's today and I dialed at 15.31, since my car has been falling off by the start of the 1st round. He dialed 15.41, so he's getting the head start. He had a .054 light to my .098 light, but I was right next to him and pulling away. At the top end, about 100 feet from the finish line I jam the breaks and take the win by .0561. What did I run, 15.313 baby. I nailed my dial dead on :thumb:

So this little bitch gets all pissed off and on the way back to the pit, Corey was in fornt of me in her TA, and he whips around the corner and almost hits her, f*** you you little poop. The kid's 17 y.o. and thru a fit like a 4 y.o.

What was the reason?
1 He sucks
2. A V6 Alero, was faster than his 350 Trans Am?
3. He lost and got no trophy, he's not in the points

The other runs were a 15.21, a 15.26 and a 15.33 which lost 2nd round, because I chriped my wheels a bit, I only lost that race by .02 seconds. The guy I raced came up afterwards and shook my hand and said "good race" so that made me feel good

Actually, Corey beat the #3 guy, not #2. I know I'm being picky but still everyone was VERY happy about that. He was #1 for the first half of the season.

I did have a good day (finally!) but F----d myself in the semi's. My elimination round RT's were (.000 being a perfect light):

Round 1: .001 (against a top 15 points guy)
Round 2: .001 (BYE run)
Round 3: .068 (against a top 15 points guy)
Round 4: .010 (against a lower points guy)
Semi's: -.014 (Heavy ET racer running in our class)

All day running on that edge finally caught up to me. Curtis and I were the first cars down the track after some dink oiled my lane from 1/2-track down to the finish line. After a nice 30 minute break with us sitting under the tower waiting to go we finally staged and I screwed up royally by going red at the line. :hissyfit:

Had I won that round and then the Final round I would have moved into a tie for 3rd place in the standings. Instead, I finished in 5th place - only 2 points back from the 3rd and 4th place guys. Plus I would have had an extra $150 more in my pocket than what I walked away with with a Semi-Finals round loss.

There's only 3 or 4 more Points races this season so I really need to have more days like yesterday and maybe a Final Round victory or 2. This is probably my longest cold streak in terms of races without making it to the Final Round.

Maybe the 2nd best thing about the day was the first oil-down. Yes, oil-downs can be a good thing..... when they happen to a-holes. Remember the fight I almost got into 2 races back? Well that same deep-in-the-ghetto jackoff oiled the entire length of the track from the starting line all the way to the last turnoff. That's a solid mile! The announcers kept yelling at him to pull over but he didn't bother listening (just like he refused to listen to me that other day). He got everyone, especially the track crew, SO pissed off. There was serious talk of making him clean up the track himself. Needless to say, they didn't let him run again after that. Serves him right, that stupid little chicken-armed asshat.
