vinyl spray dye at advance auto parts, autozone or wal-mart. For the interior vent pieces and dash pieces, I use krylon interior-exterior paint and top it off with krylon clearcoat. But I'm not sure if they sell clearcoat vinyl spray.

there are good paint reccommendations and pictures in the How to section. There should be a thread on painting interior pieces there.

Aight jus spray paint the plastic door panels and all that poop and jus revinyl where the old vinyl was? Sounds easy enough, I wanted to do a silver color instead of the crap color beige i got and all those black plastic pieces. :alcoholic: time for a beer.

The only problem I see in using a paint not inteaded for vinyl or plastic, is the durability. Plastic and vinyl contract and expand with heat. If your paint cannot handle that, you can count on your interior looking much worse than it is a few months down the line.

If you're having your own paint mixed, find a good vinyl paint, and have some flex additive put in, Same stuff they use for plastic exterior parts on your to keep it from cracking with vibraton. The paint doesn't harden as much, making it more durable to the vibrations and flex.

Interior paint, Vinyl's the good long term choice, and they don't make vinyl clear from my experience. Regular old paint doesn't stick to vinyl that well, plan on it chipping and flaking down the line.

Ask Silentalero....................

Seriously though. On the vents, etc..... The Krylon fusion works great.
I have to agree with the other posts about using SEM Vinyl Dye for the rest of the dash.

Well I put a flex additive in with my paint and never had a problem with cracking or pealing and there was not a peice in the interior that was not painted. If you do all the right steps then you do not have problems down the road. I did mine this way so that it all matched. Then again they dont make my colors in a spray can.

that flex additive is only temporary.
