Well ive been to every store in the city and have only found the Dupli-Color in a spray can. But i cant find any clear coats for it. Will any clear coat do or dose it have to be high temp clear coat?

Also, would it be better to spray the paint in a bottle then use a brush to apply it or just mask it off and spray?

I brushed mine on my old accord calipers and it turned out well I didn't use a clear coat but it still shined a little. I just used tremclad rust paint as well not duplicolor or anything.

i used your average plastic grocery bag to mask it off. it fits perfectly over the rotor, and leaves the caliper exposed. (just put a piece of duct tape around the back to hold it)

i sprayed mine. turned out ok..

and i'd say you have to use high temp clear coat. or else the clear coat will burn off and your paint will get messed up.

I bought the duplicolour kit, worked good. It came with every thing you need... brake cleaner, masking tape, and of course a can of paint and a brush. Just make sure you remove all rust and debris. I used a wire brush and sprayed the brake cleaner liberally all over discs and hub. I then did a quick 380 grit sanding and sprayed cleaner again. Turned out good, took about 1 and a half hours complete. You will probably want to do this when you know you won't be driving your car for couple of hours so the paint can dry. good luck! Oh ya I didn't clear coat them but I have seen a high temp clear coat for wheels made by dupont also, I'm sure it would be ok on your calipers too.

The brush on kind is so much better than the spray kind. I sprayed mine originally and after a year it was basically gone. I re-did them right before ASS this year and they still look great. I didn't clear mine either.
