Just installed my Halo Gauges today, among other things, and I have one of those aluminum gauge bezels, and I'm not sure what the best way to install it would be.

The OE black plastic is molded into the part that holds the clear plastic that goes over the gauges, and even if I figure out how to get that out it wouldn’t mount flush against the surface because of all the curvatures? I know there's a bunch of people that have these, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd just cut mine out and left about a 1" tab on left and right side of the black bezel, then glued the alum on the 1" tabs.

It should just bend enough to slide in. Atleast my carbonfiber one did.

lol post skimming has taken on a new form: fact skimming

I had the aluminum one, but I didn't like how it looked AT ALL, so I popped in the CF one, and now because of the heat, it's cracking. You're better off leaving it stock, IMO.
