Whats with the Aleromod.com girls having Burgundy colored Alero's with the 2.4? both Mary and Smlz have a burgundy Alero with the 2.4.

No. A few of us have been around since the early days of the site and put together the cards to be handed out (glad to see they're working). We had various incarnations of the cards over the years. I don't recall who created the now-standard design. I think it might have been Naich who also created this site.

As for how I found it, there used to be another similar Alero site back 4 years ago but the owner of that site let it fall apart so Naich created this site and we've been steadily improving it over the years. I found the other site via a web search and then found out through them about this site starting up in its place.

And, uh, I think my boyfriend Googled Alero and found 'the mod.' The AOTM had the wheels he wanted to buy for me so he sent me a link to the site. That was over 3 years ago...

wow, i just regoogled this site using "Alero" and its the second page to come up. it wasnt like that almost 2 years ago when i found it. i was bored in iraq and stumbled accross it lol

and I'm pretty sure that the 2.4 was done when they brought in the 2.2, so they weren't in the same year.

might be an in between phase...dunno bout the auto industry, but the recreation industry will use up the rest of their ressources before completely using the same stuff...

example: 2005 Venture came with a cassette player, while 2006 comes with a cd player...well i've got an 06 sittin here with a cassette player because its in between transition phase...

according to this website (http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/used/reviews/full/index.cfm/id/2396/) the switch happened in 2002 so by 2003 there shouldnt have been 2.4L left
