Ok heres the story. I just had my Eibach springs put on a little over a week ago the mechanic told me my tie rods weren't in the best of shape. He told me to bring in this coming wed. He said it should be fine til then. Well tonight when I was heading home I heard this snap noise and it started clunking around. I pulled into a parking lot to see what it was but couldn't tell since it is dark out. So what do ya think this could be?

Broken tie rod? How did it drive after it happened?

take it to the mechanic to check it out. I've already had my tie-rods replaced. Should cost you about $50 plus labor at Firestone. Don't know about other places though.

Ok I can't get it into the garage til wed. When I drove it this morning I couldn't really telll it was thumping. So I put it up on jacks to see if I could see anything without really messing with anything and I couldn't tell. The tie rods weren't great but I don't think they could be doing this. I took it out for a little spin and after a turn it started to thump pretty bad. It seemed to come from the middle then clunk on the left. I could feel it under my feet. Hopefully this is a little more specific and ya all know what I'm saying
