Alero Recall on mygmlink.com

I went on mygmlink.com today to update some info, and it said my 03 Alero has a recall. It says the recall is that the OBD needs a software update. However, it does not give anymore details. I was wondering if anyone else uses mygmlink.com? If so, does it tell you guys that you have an open recall? I called Oldsmobile and they said they don't have any details on the recall yet either. I am just wondering what is going on.

You should go to the vehicle recall site. That's how I found out about a recall they are doing this year on the 2001's about blinkers malfunctioning. I had GM fix mine as soon as I found out about it. I had to call them several times to find someone who could actually find what I was talking about because the recall wasn't out yet. Try going to this site and do a search http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/......good luck
