So I've been here a couple weeks and met a few of you and about to meet Sud today, but I was thinking about having a little get together now that I'm actually IN my apartment and unpacked...sorta. Anyhow, I was thinking of trying to have something at my pool while it is still opened. I was hoping to maybe put something together for next Sunday September 25th. I figured that we could all get together and swim maybe and they have some grills right there at the pool since there's those goofy laws about propane grills and distance from buildings, that maybe we could cook something up on the grill. Everybody can bring their families, b/c there's no doubt that my 2 little monsters will be there and want to go swimming. The 10 day forcast doesn't give me next sunday, but it says about 82 for next saturday, so sunday should be fine too. Anyhow, post up some interest if you want to come out and hopefully you'd be able to get away Jon for the day to come over.
Lets try to get this together before the weather starts to shut down for the fall...

G-town,....i'm guessing Gastonia huh? I may be up for something in October. I took off the 23-29 and should be done with my install. Maybe we'll get together than.

gawd, and to think i was actually home, and could've made that, but didn't have access to the internet, so i didn't know about it......life sucks sometimes.....lol

hey brad...some time in oct. would be good.....i know pools would probably be shut down, but grilling and :alcoholic: is always okay with me!!! i'll have to check my schedule. and i'm going to be moving into an apartment now istead of a house, i'll post about that later in anouther thread tho :pissed: but we'll be moving sometime around Nov. 7th if your available to help ;)

if you move into an apartment don't go to charlotte, too expensive. I live in a 2br, 2 bath for $585 and its like 5mins away from Roberta Rd.

Gastonia is right down here by Charlotte... Kamp, you've got to be real close to me then because I live on roberta road...dunno where you found an apt for 585, the best I could find was 740, but of course we were looking for something with a 6 month lease so that we were able to buy a house sooner. I found a couple that were cheaper, but my wifey makes too much money for us to live there.

the apartments where i live right now, behind the S&D coffee plant is like 585 or 595$ for a 2br,2bath and around 700$ for a 3br. Yeah i live very close my friend. I look at out see the back of Big lots and Excel Motorcycles from my place.

pshhh you can get a nice 2 bdr apt in Raleigh near campus in a decent neighborhood for high $300's.

that college living though...i got a 4br around UNCC for 500$ but i had to put up with college crap all the time...too much drinking, slutty drunk large men and women, and too loud of music at the deadset of night.

my son is actually going to start going to pre-school at the sunshine house right behind S&D starting october 10th, so you might catch me driving around a little bit. I was out and about concord/kannapolis all day today.
