Is there a how to on taking apart the air vents to paint them or is it kinda easy to do once you get them out and can look at it? I've been searching forever, and can't find it.

I've already found out how to take them out, and I know how to paint, but it says to paint the vents, you have to completely take them apart so they will still move and look right. completely taking them apart is the part I can't find.

ah. um.. take a screwdiver, and be careful. i broke my driver's side one. nothing a little epoxy didn't fix. but it won't come apart anymore. (or move.. :glare: )

And you must not have read the "HOW TO SECTION" enough to see that it doesn't tell you how to disassemble them, not take them out.

And would you read the damn links that you posted just one time and see that it doesn't tell how to take them APART. I know how the hell to take them out. That's not what I want to know. I want to know how to TAKE THE THINGS APART, not TAKE THE THINGS OUT. There is a diff. in taking something APART and taking something OUT. Did you know that? Do you know how to comprehend between the two? You try to get smart and don't know what the hell you're even talking about.

this isnt rocket science. Get the vents out, take a flat head screw driver, then lift the clips holding the vents together. If you knew anything about anything you would know that.

Look man, I was wanting to know if there was a how to or something so I could see how much work it would be to do it before I took them out. To kinda know about how long it would take or something. It's okay though, cuz I took the driver side one out to look at it the other night. Thanks for the help anyways.
