Balance Shaft Removal

Can someone post a how to or a link to how to remove the balance shafts from the LD9 please? I am pretty sure how to do it but not too sure if it's worth it.

I was just checking J-body.org and there are a few ppl on there who have done this, as far as I can tell it's not cheap or easy. You have to drill holes in a bare block for oil and then have to clean it properly to get the metal shavings out. anyone else care to add their 2 cents?

the balance shafts are part oiling system. you would need to do the 2.3 oil conversion.
