I have a system and everytime my car goes boom.....so does my rearview mirror. Whenever i get a good bass hit it just rattles like crazy and is quite annoying. Let me know if anyone out there has the same problems and what they did to solve them

Turn it up 'till you can't hear it, or take if off. Not much more than that you can do.

 the same thing happens to me, but I haven't came up with a solution either.Even my side-view mirrors move sometimes. So I usually just turn down the bass, but that's no fun!!! :(

turn it diagonal, it may not be a full view, but it wont vibrate

u cant get it to stop from moving down........ but u can get the mirror to stop shakin for the most part.....
i took mine and seperated the mirror from though housing...... then i ran a bead of hot glue around the outter edge of the mirror and reassembled it. u cant see any of the glue and it acts as a cushion so the mirror itself doenst vibrate as much...

Didn't someone on here glue the joints into the position that they wanted it in?
I'd have to take a good look at how the joints are, but you may be able to drill a hole into the joint in the position that you want it in and then insert a pin of some kind. That way you'd be able to remove the pins if you wanted to and still move the mirror around. Don't know how well that'd work without taking a look...
