Well my boston ralleys are starting to break down and crackle from the bass
I adjusted the gains to they are not seeing near the low freq. they used to but its too late.
so today I started the warranty swap over to boston Z6's

anyway my question is what has to be done to fit a 6.5" in our door?
I have a basic knoweldge of car auido but want to know what I"m getting myself into.
thanks

its just a matter of having the baffle spaced and angled correctly to make it fit. 3/4" MDF would be a good start, then you might need to trim or add spacers depending on the clearence in front and back.

If you get really ambitious you can cut a piece that replaces the whole lower panel where the pocket is. I had it done locally and it looks awesome but cost a bit more than a regular mounting plate would. Take a look at my n-body a pic of what i'm talking about.

thanks for the reply
your setup looks really nice!
I'd do that but I'm on a strict budget
the upgrade set me back only about 400 because of the warranty.
better than the 1,000 retail price tag but not much to play with.
plus I want to keep the map pocket and look as stock as possible
guess I'll see what I can do
