[COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue][COLOR=blue]Ok, as you may or may not know, i got my car lowered last week. So i go in for an alignment and they guy gets all done, almost and he comes up to me with some sheet with a whole bunch of numbers. There are some in green (most) but some are in red, which means they are still not to spec. In order to fix this, he said ill need new aftermarket shims, both sides on the rear. I already know im not working with the best people at this shop, and ive already been ripped off, but before i go somewhere else and pay them to diagnose the problem, does that even sound logical/ right? Needing new aftermarket custom shims for the back to get it aligned right? I have intrax springs and springtech struts. Ive just never heard of this before, and since i know nothing about suspension, other than what to buy, i figure ill ask around on here because i know some of you are suspension gurus. Thanks in advance.

actually, yea, you're probably slightly out of spec on the rears, thats normal and most shops will just disregard it because it's a front wheel drive car. if you REALLY wanted have them made, dont go with the adjustable crap from say, eibach.
i had almost a couple degrees negative camber in the rear, didn't harm a thing

i dont remember anymore, but it was quite a bit. i know my fronts were only off spec by like .25 degree negative with 3 or 4 inches of drop. the rears i think were like ~2 degrees off

how far out was you spec? camber effects wear on either the inside (too negative) or outside (too positve) of the tires.

How much does the intrax drop the alero because I see that on the site they only have one set of springs for the oldsmobile alero but I dont see how much it drops it unless im just missing it :)
