My leather is tan/neutral.

Well....not gonna be making it out there. Need a new tranny mount (the side one) and a new motor mount. When we were soing the engine swap we stripped one of the holes in the engine mount and the bolt is coming loose. They dont have the parts and wont have them for a couple days. This sucks....its NEVER anything simple for me

they have the engine and trans mounts at almost all of the autozones around here as far as i can tell. come up here we'll fix it on-site

Look guys...i love going to ASS....it's a great time but 1.) these parts are dipping into my checking now...which is the money i was going to use for gas/food. and 2.) i just checked the engine mount bolt and that bitch is loose in there so she's staying put until i can get these parts and get over to my buddies house so we can put them on.

I don't have much money right now anyhow....i really couldn't afford this trip in the first place but i was gonna do it anyways. Now that i have to buy parts (and already paid the shop for an hour of labor) i'm screwed. IT'S ALWAYS SOMETHING.....i fix one thing, something else breaks....i put the effin front hubs on a couple days ago to fix my cruise control/abs/trac off problem and the cruise still doesn't work. I put the rear calipers/rotors on....now the front rotors are starting to warp cause they were doing 90% of the braking for a while since the rears were shot.

I guess the lesson learned here was to NOT procrastinate so much.....i do it all the time.....i never fixed my bumper cover/all the other cosmetic problems....took me a couple days to get the car checked out....took me a while to put the brakes on....

Anyways.....hope everyone has a great time (well...i know you will). The guys at ASS are GREAT PEOPLE....Scott, Andy, Ken, Chris, Big Daddy (sorry don't know ur real name lol) and a whole lot of other people.

sucks that you bought the hubs, could've used the money for this shit. fixing cruise control seems like a seriously low priority. i never use cruise control, even on cars that have it. it's just weird to me.

Yea...it would def be nice to have that money now.... i love cruise control, use it all the time. 11 hour drive with no cruise =not fun

Yea, i'll miss you guys too. After further visual inspection the effin idiots broke off a bolt on the motor mount (the part that is bolted onto the engine).....i'm SOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW! I dont think that bitch is getting drilled and re-tapped....now i have to find one of them....words cant describe how annoyed i am right now.

I can't dude.....the car is def NOT drivable now.....the pulley is rubbing against the mount and i DO NOT feel comfortable driving 15 miles with it. So my sis is gonna pick me up tonight, im gonna borrow my moms xterra.....pick up my buddy saturday morning and bring him over here to fix this. He said he can fix it. Just a HUGE PITA.....effin shop.....this is why i need to keep going to my trusted mechanic (or my buddy) instead of some shop right near where i work.
