thats why you are a woman.
|
i smell rice.....
just kidding. sweet whip yo |
yes i need to mount and balance the front tires, i need alignment, and exhaust, yes it is stayin in primer, and yes i want to keep something original on the car
i will not "clear the corners" i hate that look, if i did something i would go back to the headlight conversion and make my own hood, but iam not its stayin the way it is |
keep it the way you like it, you put so much work and countless hours into it and it paid off.
|
oh iam goin to do what i want to, and ya it is paid off, i will build what i like, if i do my own its going to be what i like not what someones says "oh i think it would look even better doing it this way"
sorry not going to happen |
Sorry for giving a suggestion, I'll go be quiet in my room now.
|
your fine no biggie, just stating a fact thats all
|
pic with brake lights illuminated. gogogogogoog.
preferably an evening / night time shot. |
ok i will try to
|
why ya gonna leave it in primer?
|
why not??
|
cause it could looke 1000x better with paint on it..... i never got why some people like to leave the car in primer. My buddy at school did the same thing with his s10. kind of dumb to leave it in primer if you ask me....you did all this work to that car, and you leave it with a boring primer look. but whatever, if thats what you like GO FOR IT
|
and it would, if i did paint it i would do hot rod flatz paint, i love the old skool hot rod look, and do you think buying paint is cheap??? a gallon of clear at my cost is 160 bucks, not to mention, a gallon of ncs sealer is 120, plus hardner for clear and sealer, plus a gallon of dbc base coat, another 160, plus 2 gallons of dt reducer, a gallon of dx 330, tack rag, tape, paper,
i would do it at work and i would have to pay my boss for the material, so it would be close to a 1,000 and right now there is no way on earth i can do that, we are slow, not making the money iam used to, i work commission no work=no money so if i did i would do the hot rod flatz, it`s way cheaper then going base coat clear coat, and iam not your buddy rolling around in some cheap ass primer either, the primer i used is corrossion resistant, and even though it does not have uv protection, it would take yr`s for this primer to show any type of ill effects, it does not shrink, so if i did paint it it would be like i primed it the very next day the heads this car is turning is the few times i had it out so far is enough for me to leave it the way it is |

Not everything has to be flashy and shiny to look good.. In fact it makes it stand out MORE because it isn't. Primer FTW! |
excellent points^ enough said
|
couldnt have said it better my self,
btw cliff your beratta is done |

I agree as well. I have just never seen a car left in primer.....which may be the point? I guess I will have to see it in person to really form an opinion. But so far, I think it's ballsy and admirable! |
now heres the next thing.. you gonna do single out the rear or dual out the rear of the ho'
|
for right now just a single magnaflow muffler, next spring i want a single magnaflow muffler no shinny tips just bare steel, dumping before the rear suspension, the pipe will dump to the ground for more exhaust tone
