Congrats on the new ho man! You definitely got an awesome deal on it. As for the paint being rough and having dents, that's to be expected with a 10 year old car that has 155k miles on it lol. They don't stay perfect forever unfortunately. Unless you never or rarely drive them that is. It looks pretty clean from the pic though.

sleepyalero 12-22-2014 07:31 AM

Yeah its not terrible really. Just a little disrespected. Thanks!

That01Olds 12-22-2014 10:51 AM

Nothing that couldn't eventually be fixed if that's what you decide you want to do and no problem man!

sleepyalero 12-22-2014 01:12 PM

Yeah i dont plan on making this a second baby. Lol the black one takes enough of my money! Only need one wallet whore. ;)

That01Olds 12-23-2014 07:05 PM

Haha I hear ya there man. One is enough lol.

sleepyalero 12-23-2014 09:32 PM

Oh yeah.

Speaking of, been doing some work tonight!

All thats left is pull sway bar, and pull inner and outer tie rod off.

But here are some pics of progress/damage. Wheel bearing came out into 4 pieces... And you can see tie rod and lower control arm damage.

Papa Rad17 12-23-2014 11:16 PM

That^ is not supposed to be like that.

sleepyalero 12-23-2014 11:21 PM

Right lol

Seems like a "quick" trip to the junkyard would take care of most of that! (Though I would probably go with a new hub assy. at a minimum.)

sleepyalero 12-24-2014 06:46 AM

Everything being replaced

Redog 12-24-2014 02:26 PM

Axle shaft looks in good shape. Seems like the control arm and sway bar took the brunt of the impact. Wheel hub could have been messed up for a while already :coolio:

sleepyalero 12-24-2014 05:46 PM

Yeah the axle and strut are perfectly fine.

The other things took the biggest impact. Lol

sleepyalero 12-24-2014 06:42 PM

Yup. I plan on removing the rest friday. And ordering new parts.

sleepyalero 12-26-2014 02:19 PM

Tie rods out, sway bar next.

sleepyalero 12-27-2014 12:34 PM

Parts ordered.

tw0123 12-27-2014 08:14 PM

Well done bud!

sleepyalero 12-27-2014 09:27 PM
