Id go performance first,I like the sleeper idea,cuz I see it all the time some guy at the lights with his ride looking all done out but its just stock and gets his balls handed to him by a stock SRT-4,Id go performance first.just my thoughts.

Besides yours BJ cuz yours is badass. But You have put alot of time money and heart into your engine to get it that fast.Anybody with a little money can go out and get a mustang/honda/any other more popular car and do what you did with half the effort, time, or money.

For instance:
STock 04 mustang upgrade main engine parts, a 75+ shot of nitrous, and chip it and you have yourself a good race. ANd the guy with the mustang doesnt have to worry bout his tranny and spent a lot less time and money. There are soooooo-oooooooo many better choices performance wise.

BUT YOUR CAR IS BADDASS I WISH I HAD YOUR ENGINE.;)

eff off white. BJ hasnt spent that much on his build. It just takes some dedication to the vehicle. Any vehicle with the right amount of research can be fast. And dont tell me that a honda can keep up even with mine with an even amount of money spent. Plus a mustang is a terrible comparison, its a v8 that costs a lot more stock. Plus upgrade engine parts on a stang? what is that? 75 shot=$500 minimum tuner=$400. So even if engine parts is just cai exhaust and p&p intakes thats sitll around $800. Right there you are into it for what dpp used to offer turbo kits for. Then if you figure in headers and cyl heads you are into it for even more. And BJ just said he is beating supercharged mustangs already. Im getitn tired of the whiners that dont think you can do certain things to these cars. Learn how to do more than change your oil and you might understand it.

You are a dumbass...mustangs arent all v8. And i know plenty of hondas that would blow past your alero (if its a 4 banger, maybe even the v6). And wherever you are paying 800 for intake/exhaust and pp pipes...your a fu**ing retard. And I know an alero "can be fast"
But umm lets be realistic here. How many aleros do you hear about people fixing up to be fast(outside of amod) Now look at all the other more popular cars. Here is a perfect comparison for ya. Take a stock grand am and a stock alero put in the same exact ENGINE parts/time/money and who will win....the GA. An alero should never be a first choice for performance unless you are going to dump some serious time into it to make a baddass sleeper....

Even better find another forum other than an n-body forum and tell them you are going to "beef up" your alero and see how many laughs you get.

oh, I have, trust me on that one, and they do laugh.....at first. Then there are some forums that are accepting, interested, and intrigued. Nine times out of ten, the ones that laugh are usually the retarded ricers (or anti-ricers) that just want attention (if the shoe fits, wear it). The ones that are intrigued are the ones that are mature, and knowledgeable, and know that every car had potential to some degree.

Notice my body kit is still unpainted? There's a reason for that, the matching paint doesn't make it go any faster, and I'm not done under the hood yet :D

Have you ever looked at the pricing on an edelbrock intake manifold? Dipshit, do some research before you reply. And tell me how the eff in a stock for stock race a ga will win? it is the exact same goddamn car, unless you are talking final gear ratio in the gt, but that is such a minimal difference its barely worth mentioning. And the reason no one outside of amod or the n body community does aleros is because this is the best resource for finding parts for the damn things.
