What kind of pads are you running?

alerored04 11-15-2007 11:06 PM

thats a bearing.

Wheel hub would do the noise permanently. I'd put my money on the brakes also.

alerored04 11-16-2007 12:27 PM

/\ not neccesarily, sometimes bearings will only make noise under atypical loads. I.E. corning or braking. But if you need new brakes any way change those first and then if it is not fixed do the bearing.

rotors/pads changed noise gone!

HOw long does it take new rotors to get stiff hard braking like the originals. The new ones are super soft and take a while to slow down.

you flushed your brake system?

whiteliquid 11-16-2007 03:47 PM

you mean bleed them...but no i didnt

Gr1m 11-16-2007 03:49 PM

thats your problem, you have air in your brakelines and need to bleed them to get it out, the longer you wait to do it, the more that could go wrong with your car.]

and BTW: bleeding them is when you get the air out of the lines, but flushing them is when you bleed out all of the old fluid and replenish it with new fluid so dont act like that.
