I' am not sure what year and mileage you have but if it's below 80k and a 2001 or newer you might consider an extended warranty. I know the upfront costs are steep at $1500 but depending on your problems it might pay off in the end. You can finance it. I got mine when I bought the vehicle and before it runs out I plan on making sure the dealership replaces alot of the covered stuff so as to make it worthwhile :<) O.o.... I already had em pay $400 bucks when I had all the work done on my coolant system to make sure it wouldn't over heat during my commute to new job. I gave special instructions to the tech to look at the LIMG and the entire coolant system and fan system telling em if you think it may need changing do it since it's covered under warranty.
