On the N/A setup you'll want to keep the pipe diameter the right size to keep high exhaust velocity. On the turbo setup...as big as you can fit. Supercharged...somewhere in between. Quote:

Haha, the backpressure myth. Good stuff.
It's all about exhaust velocity people. You want the exhaust to aid in sucking the heated gases out of the cylinders. |
I got a header, high flow cat, a magna flow muffler, and just installed a long 20 inch resonator and the car loves it. The car feels a bit better with the resonator.

So then you are also reffering to yourself then, Just becasue you have built one or more cars how do you think you are more knowledgable? |
I didn't say I was more knowledgeable, I just posted about something I knew to be incorrect. I'm sure there's a plenty of people that are quite a bit more knowledgeable than me, but using my own hands-on experiences and from research I've done mixed with a little common sense, I've learned a lot about a lot.
About that twin turbo Civic, I didn't read into it very far. I just looked at the pics now and it's a pretty sick setup. When someone says "twin turbo Civic" the first thing you think is not RWD twin turbo V8 :p |
