I might be in, but what do you think shipping is going to cost to the United States because I'm assuming this place is in Canada.
Add me to the list as a for sure... How is the payment going to work?

Yeah, shipping is going to be a big deal. I know it will have to come truck freight, but just how much would that cost?
A friend of mine has a CF hood on his Grand am. It makes the hood soooo much lighter. I think it is worth it.
Definately interested, count me in, but let me know WAY in advance when I gotta pay and how much, because I gotta save for it

yo I'm in on this If you seen my pics recently you can see why!!(pics are in showcase) Just let me know everything you need $$ info I live in the GTA area Toronto. defintely in YES YES YES
I'd paint it for sure. Any pics, I'm a maybe
good thing im getting a new job with better pay. i should have enough money soon to get the hood. id love it if he went thru with the idea.
I don't think I would paint mine. I like the way the CF contrasts.
again i ask the questions, before i will commit i would like to know about the hood, weight differences, oem or scoop, etc, just get us or at least me a little more info....
well, I don't know any specifics, but I can tell you there is a significant difference in weight. I can't give you specific numbers, but I can tell you this. A carbon fiber hood can be picked up with one hand, try doing that with your stock hood.
I'm a maybe as well.
yeah i know that too but i want some specifics weight can be a huge difference or a minor one depending on the under bracing of the hood, also i already has an oem carbon fiber hood and it was nice but a scoop is way more desirable (i also guarantee my old cf hood is was lighter than these ones will be if they get produced because my old hood had no bracing at all, just the carbon fiber) now if people are looking for performance that is the way to go, personally though i think most carbon fiber hoods are for looks, i mean big deal if you save like maybe 50 lbs for $500-$600, the price you are paying is mostly for looks, bottom line.......just my 2 cents
^^agree, cf, in this case is pretty much just for looks, that's what I'm going for on this.
yes and a cf hood would look fking so nice.
Im down it sounds cool so count me in....

A yiddish barbeque sounds delicious. No bacon tho lol. Anyways, yes i have one of the few c.f. hoods that were made, and i had it painted because there were some imperfections in the resin and chips on the sides from shipping. However, if another run of these is made, i would highly recomend that there is bracing on the underside of the hood. The one i have has no bracing, and vibrates like a bitch above 55 on the freeway. Heres the link to pics of it: Yes i have a c.f. hood |
haha.. my bad. I think i was hungry when I posted that. what is bdg anyways?
