The SU1477 is the right one, it's just expensive. The cheaper one looks like this and is totally the wrong connector:

I do believe that's the one that would work on the 3400. |
Edited: wrong part again. Confirmed not a working MAP sensor for the application.
so what is the cheapest map sensor that's 2 bar? i need it today. help me out
that was the 3400 MAP, should be able to get a new one at autozone, i dont think you have much of a choice, but to buy that expensive one
i'm trying to find it. there is a $45-60 one. Fi-Alero has it but won't look at the part number on it. he says it's one of the ones i told him to get. i'm looking through my PMs.
will it work on the 2.4?
the two $160 ones i listed are the exact part but there is an alternate part number that's the same thing that is $100 cheaper.
if you can find it, that would be amazing. funds are tight, just want my car back

SU1078
AutoZone About $47. Just need to take off the orange rubber seal and stick on your boost/vacuum hose. |

alright, so the map sensor is in. but, the car is still running extremely rich. i'm not sure why. at this point, i've contacted the guy that tuned my computer, but i'm not sure if he's going to get back to me.....dissappointing

You're not on just the GM Reflash?
no, i'm running a tune from shifted over on j-bodies. any chance you could look it over? i'd send you the computer and make it worth it for you
I just need the .hpt file
i'll see what i can do. no response from Ron yet.
so, the report from the mechanic says that, the computer is reading 40 degrees below zero and 100 percent load when first started.....any ideas?
-40 IAT means it's unplugged. Same with coolant and all other temp sensors I think. Sometimes when I hit "Start Scanning" on HPTuners one of the temp gauges will be pegged at -40. Just need to stop and start the datalogging again and it fixes it. If it's solidly -40 no matter what it's obviously an issue with the sensor.
What do you mean "100 percent load"? |
