for the longest time that wasnt even an option for different clusters, lol to reflash them, at least not public knowledge

As far as I know, the dealership doesn't even have the equipment to reflash the cluster. There are speedometer repair places that do though.

Also, I would verify the fuel level with a scanner. The Fuel level information is passed on to the cluster through the Class 2 data bus from the PCM.

so i took the cluster out to see if i could find a bad connection or anything like that and i diddnt see anything that looked weird so i just straightened out the wires and put it back together and the problem has gone away :) im not realy sure what i did but it works now. thanks everyone for all your help Im sure i will need it again we have a few more problems to work out before the modding begins lol
