mfuller that was an amazing write up thx for that but what i got from it was he kinda put mobil1 down a little bit. also shows yet again fram is complete garbage. I guess you can never go wrong with purolator. and delco tied with most surface are with purolator pure one so for me i guess its delco or purolator since its just a daily driver that i dont beat on.

The older design Delco filters were quite good, but when Champion Labs took over with the Ecore things went downhill. Mobil 1 and K&N filters are basically the same.

gotta love corporate america anything to make their wallets fatter. why take a good thing and destroy it. ive tried like everykind except mobil1 and wix maybe ill try the mobil one next change. ive also opened filter after 5k and the oil and filter were unbelieveably clean and containmanent(sorry cant spell) free which im hoping is a good thing :/ so i bet i could do a mobil 1 safely for 10k

Hmm I'm switching to Mobil 1's filter. I always thought our oil was overpriced at AutoZone but I'm paying $23.50 + $3.50 for Mobil 1 oil and an AC Delco filter at Walmart, when we always have it on sale at AutoZone for $26.99 with a Mobil 1 filter... damn.

good point ion i did the same exact thing now that you say that its true.im thinking its time to change it up to mobil1 high mileage just hit 99k
