Just checked DDM's site and they are selling the raptor kit for $30 and the slim for $40. Now, I'm trying to be fair, so Ryan, if you are reading this, what do your kits have on DDM's, because this sounds like a HELL of a deal.
yeah that's a good question cause im thinking the same thing
Hell I dont know.
What I do know is you usually get what you pay for. Always been my experience at least. Other than that, my only other thought is- if they are selling these kits for $30 and $40 and are making money on them, what kind of quality could you possibly be getting for that? Thats the scary part. But hey its your money. Sometimes you roll the dice and loose. |
I bought ddm raptors 8000k and they are brighter but they arent really blue at all, for the price great buy but next time ill be going through ryan.
Yea, that's definitely a good point. I know pretty much everyone has been happy with their products from Ryan, but does anyone else have any input on the DDM's they have used?
I thought about buying a set of DDM's just to try them out.
Put a set in the GS's car and put a set of my own in my car. Never spent the coin on it yet. |
i love my ddm hids, straight forward easy install, great color with a bright white and a tinge of blue, I can't stand the all blue ricer look.........
now I can't find it, but on a sport bike forum a guy did a test of 4 or 5 different HID kits with a photocell to measure light output. The DDMs were the brightest putting out a light output 9x bright then a stock halogen bulb. I also know that I have sylvania silverstars in my daily beater. When lindsey drives behind me and we are going down a hill, I can see the beams off the DDM headlights wrap all around my output and out farther in front of me, and she is at least 5 cars lengths behind me, so that means a lot of safety for me and the family against deer here in SD |
I hear nothing but good things from DDM and never once heard anything bad
I was quite satisfied with my kit from DDM
what you do with em???? btw you still have the alero around or it went to the yard?
Thanks for your input everyone!
