^that actually not true at all. I just completely rewired all my tails to work a bit differently and dropped in all white LED bulbes. the red doesnt look washed out at all. note the pic includes the word SOME.

Were does it say "some" i bet if you put red leds behind there it would look alot better. A led is a led. A red lense wont block the red light... a red lense will block white light tho.

it says same. sorry, thats what I get for a quick glance. either way, my bulbs look great behind the red lens. still looks nice and red.
