The GXP is a 12 inch rotor. IDK if the GTP is a 10.6 inch or 12 ;)

While they look right, the fronts will work but the backs are wrong in that kit..

Go straight to Goodridge for proper stainless lines. GM uses odd sized connections...

The only well to really tell (since that picture is just a representation and not the actual part) is to make sure they are long enough (I dont' recall how long the lines are) but the caliper-side fitting is a M10x1.0 banjo bolt and the opposite fitting (which attaches to the hard line) is a M10x1.0 ISO bubble flare.

Because i have that set, and the fronts are identical between the J and N body cars. But the rears on the J-Body are different and are what is in this kit. They're like 6" long hoses with female ends on both sides.

did you buy the cheaper kit? I got the $230 one.....i guess i had to get the more expensive kit for the brackets huh?

billytheman1188 01-10-2011 04:13 PM

this is the one i got....
http://www.mpracing.org/store/index....&productId=370

probably should have read a little better before ordering....now i see it says "base kit".....so how should i go about getting brackets? The customer service isnt too good cause i called 3 times, left voicemails and emailed once and never got anything back. I thought the order didnt go through cause it took forever to get these (over a week). So now im worried cause i need these brackets and i never got a hold of anybody all the times i contacted them.

So just to get everything clear....all i need is brackets now right? nothing else? I already have stainless steel lines so those dont matter. just brackets...right?

cherrington17 01-10-2011 04:19 PM

right on the site it lists the components...

The base kit includes:
- 1 Pair of Dual Piston Calipers
- 1 Pair of Caliper Brackets
- All hardware for needed for installation
- 1 Set of Ceramic Pads
- 1 Optional Pair of OEM Style rotors

I'd think they should have been included

Caboose73 01-10-2011 04:20 PM

thats the same one i got so you should have brakets

LOL....wow.....i FAIL. So i did read everything right! I totally passed over that before.

I emailed them about it....hopefully they get back to me soon. Brackets weren't in the box so idk. Just hope they get shipped here fast cause i need to bring my car in to get the struts/springs/and urethane bushings put in before i head back to ohio and i cant drive it to my mechanic until i have brakes! lol
