ive always had manual windows my old panels where just trashed , this is all i could find in multiple junkyard trips

To be honest when I first saw this thread a couple days ago, I had no idea what direction it would be going in and I thought it was a stupid idea. I'm glad I didn't say anything because I would be sitting here with my foot in my mouth because that's pretty sweet so far.

While this isn't my thing, and I still don't really like them...It looks a lot cleaner than some you posted a picture of at an earlier point, so for cleaning them up some I give you props, however I still don't know how you could ever put that much sound equipment to use and think it messes with functionality...way to be unique though

sleepyalero 02-22-2013 11:27 PM

It's very possible to make it work. I'm excited for this.

Looks like it's coming along well. I'm not into car audio, but this is pretty sweet, I would even like to do something like this with maybe 2 in each door.

xXManwhoreXx 02-23-2013 01:55 AM

I wish I had manual windows.... wait I do its called tape

sleepyalero 02-23-2013 04:35 AM

You need to fix that.

Nas Escobar 02-23-2013 02:14 PM

The window regulator and motor is only $50 on ebay. I would do it if I was you... hell I've done it because I had a bottle of spray paint holding my window up from inside the door panel... smh lol

DeeJayy 02-23-2013 09:03 PM

I myself have a stick in mine ;D

sleepyalero 02-23-2013 09:39 PM

I had a stick of wood holding mine up as well until I got a new one from the junkyard.

Lucky you. Every junkyard around me the aleros are stripped down to just the frame hahaha

DeeJayy 03-07-2013 04:18 PM

Any word on these doors? anxious to see!

AleroKing 03-12-2013 05:45 PM

test fit

i put the quick layer of spray paint to make any spots that still need work to stick out more. its hard to see any little imperfections in bondo.

S8track16 03-12-2013 07:52 PM

That's going to look great, what do you have in terms of sub woofers?
