quick question does anyone know if 20s would fit on the back of our cars without modification??? im also planning on getting airbags too... i want to try to tuck some 20s in the back.. any info would help.....
|
no, plain and simple
even then if you do, you would have to find a set 20x7.5 which is rare enough and if you do manage to find em, youll have to get rubberband tires and youll be resting on the tire the entire time the car sits low and itll actually keep the car higher |
ok that picture that bdyman has posted is that as low as it will go??? im still kind of up in the air about what kit i wanna get... any help on the best kit??? i want a 4 way setup i want f,b,s,s fast kit...
|
either air ride technologies or air lift technologies. both are kick ass sytems. air ride is 3000 and air lift is 2600
|
what about airbagit any comments i like the touch screen controller
|
AIrbagit is chassistech which I am told by admin and mods that they suck...something about the valves being crap
|
bydmans strut bags say airbagit.com on em.
|
so your saying the only thing wrong with chassis tech is the valves or do they have more defects with there equipment??? i want the best for my car i dont wanna settle for crap

airride and air lift both offer warrenties. chassis tech doesnt. so if it breaks it comes out of your wallet. quality and warrent on all products is what u want. so what if u spend a little more

Some things are worth the wait and the money...a sandwich isn't a sandwich without Miracle Whip..sorry I am flipping channels... :D

you'll need some slight modification, like removing the v8 and supercharged logos, then they should fit fine depending on your sidewall width. oh and six foglights may also be a problem  |
yo just my opinion but chassis tech sucks i have a bagged S10 as well as my alero. i would stay with the better names like easy street air ride Ect I have always had problems with chassis tech getting parts to me and shipping me the wrong poop but air is a good solution if you dont like the mess of juice and it can be as fast or as slow as you want it to be if you want it to go down slow just install the exhaust filters in the exhaust side of you valves i would say 3/8 valves would be your best bet I have 1/2 inch on my truck and nitrogen with air as a backup i would stay waya from nitro in a car cause you will break something lol
 |
id list the problems chassistech has but i dont have all day to do so..
btw plastic fittings suck, especially when they consider them "top of the line" |
ok..........yes i am on chassis tech struts using air ride tech compressor system
AND NOT ONE PROBLEM WITH CHASSIS TECH!!!!!! AND THEY PERFORM!!!!! AGAIN NOT ONE PROBLEM WITH CHASSIS TECH STRUTS next yr i will swap out chassis tech for air ride struts do not give me b.s about being on chassis tech IT`S ALL ABOUT INSTALLATION!!!!! you could have air ride tech and if you don`t know what your doing of course air ride tech will also suck donkey balls!!! bottom line is how a product is installed!!!! |
well i ahave had chassis tech strut bags for over two years and not one problem yet....... my valves are SMC 3/8 they are the best ask the big boys... they never have to be rebuilt. as far as cmpressors go with Viair... the are the best 100% duty cycle... you guys know you can buy all you air ride setup not in a kit right... That way you get the good poop..... yes it does come up within a sec.... If any of you have ??? about airride feel free to email me at forbidden@insightbb.com. I also own a business that sells anything you would want for air ride. I am not tring to tell you guys this to sale to you but just to help you out with any ?? you have.. Because trust me you dont want to waste time and alot of money on the wrong poop. There is nothing worse than been out with all your buddys and their cars and you have to go home because your air ride broke!!!!!!!!!
