I don't know what you guys are talking about. I was right behind the three of them and my odometer read 40 and i was keeping up with them to a point, and then they accelerated a tiny bit. Street racing would just be wrong.

cherrington17 06-19-2007 07:43 PM

i was behind ken... i certainly wasn't doing anything that might be considered illegal...

you do realize I will be driving from arizona right?

mapquest says 2036 miles in 29 hours and 55 minutes for one way (Luke AFB, AZ. -> Pekin, IL. -> Lansing, MI.)

I also learned you can impress people by turning around in the middle of gas pumps in a busy ass gas station. As Scott put it..I turned a 3 point turn into a 20 point turn.

All this because I didn't want to do the pre-pay pump thing.

Yo man Cecil is the track I frequent the most. How about three 14 second aleros ?? That would be awesome and I really wanna race u guys.

QCmustang 06-20-2007 06:11 PM

well sounds like everyone had a great time up there. do yall think theres any room for a mustang up in that croud next year?

p1mptress 06-20-2007 08:28 PM

Maybe.... But the rules are any non-alero that shows up has to be test driven by me! I have to make sure it has enough balls to be able to parked with the other aleros.

cherrington17 06-20-2007 08:54 PM

... do we really trust your parking skills after that weekend!?

I'm sure that can be aranged with no problem  I think I'm going to be hitting Cecil in the fall, after E-town's season is over. I'll let you know far enough in advance

Mustang, with the Aleros, IDK, but judging by your signture and you are looking to buy a 91 5.0 and a Convertible on top of that, I say sure, but for only 2 reasons.

I like the Fox body style Mustangs. I wanted one when I was in High school and two, Since I can beat it in the 1/4 mile, I have no objections ;)

hahaha i dont know girl after drivin them alero's for soo long if you hop in my mustang might be too much balls for ya. :haha:

Oh and redog, i own the mustang now and just put the 5.0 in it last weekend. I still have a whole year of mod's to do to that car. you all are impressed by a 14.5 alero im shootin for at least 12's. the only prob i see is im not putting a roll cage in a convertable (looks retarded) soo ill only get one run down the track before they kick me off. :scpimp:

I'm impressed by a 14.5 - 14.9 alero because they run 15.8 - 16.2 stock :p and because they confuse the civic and V6 mustang crowd that permeates Delaware. My friend's got a 5.0 mustang hardtop. Bored out engine, all kinds of work done to it. I think he's on his 5th transmission now. I raced and beat him because his car was overheating and not getting enough fuel at the time. 14.9 Alero > high 12s mustang .

And maybe next year I'll have enough money and time to go to ASS, sounds like a ton of fun.

I wasn't at ASS, but trust me, Kimmy is wild! haha I only met Audrey for like a few minutes, but I would have to assume that if Kimmy says so, she is. ;)

cherrington17 06-21-2007 05:49 PM

^all i've seen is drinking, and getting others to do the dirty work... but i'm with lucas, i'm usually no-where near the "fun"
