what I have done over the last month of weekends..
dropped crossmember to replace rack and pinion, new power steering lines, control arms, sway bar bushings and links, front struts,caliper brackets bolts, and hubs all around.
and... cant say it was fun at all...
not much to pull from aleros here in denver at the salvage yard.
still need outer passenger tail light and front fender liners for both sides
only took 14 hours of work for all of that .. with 1ft of clearance under the car...

^Nice! I just replaced all my suspension...loving it. I'm prob gonna have to replace the rack with the next year or two. Plus the tie rods....then i'm set! lol.

and then you will go to replacing everything around the suspension? :p

first snowstorm of the year. over a foot in one night... what a drive...

I scraped a foot of snow off of it...

haha we actually got a little over a foot that night. i have summer tires on my car, so i got stuck right in the middle of the road.

its not a fully sc/t'd grand am.. its just the GT that came with the SC/T wing and hood. heres a picAttachment 11514

I do plan on getting the SC/T body kit eventually. and supercharging it as well. but thats just plans. nothing more. near future upgrades will include res delete, high flow cat and a 80 series flowmaster.

Nice! Get some mirrors for it too. Did it come with the hood and spoiler from the factory? If so, that would be a GT1.

the hood and spoiler are factory on mine. as well as the 5 spoke torqued chrome rims, the full leather interior (shift knob is wrapped in leather, steering wheel, seats and everything.) My tail lights do not look like GT tail lights though. they look like SE tails.

The SE tails have horizontal lines running across them, the GT's don't.

mine do have SE tails. i don't know why.. the guy told me it had factory tail lights but i already knew he didnt know they were not the GT tails.

Probably going to drive to autozone in it today to get 50$ back for a spring compressor I rented.

Haven't driven the car for about a week now.. Roads are pretty clear and I'm having withdrawals so I might drive it to autozone, or just use my moms car... Hmmm...

I guess I'll drive it, I need more pics to show its lowered.
