Well i'll call them what the company that produces them calls them which is side skirts.
And 2000 is way to much for an andys kit install with paint. that is f'n outragous |
2000 sounds about right for a quality paintjob on the kit though. i had my hood quoted for a paintjob a few weeks ago (apparently the paint I had doesn't like the cold and it cracked......)
anywho, the quote on just the hood was $500. don't forget there's prepping involved to paint fiberglass that isn't necessary for polyurethane, and a different process than for metal. (don't ask me what the processes involve, I'm not a body shop guy...) |
the preping involved is the same for f/g and metal, the only difference for plastic is if it is a raw un-primed part then its different
and no the 2 grand was a fair price for the work invovled doesnt matter which kit it is if there is allot of work you pay for it i know i know iam jackin again but in a good way |
the experience i'm going by is what i paid!!! the 400 to paint was correct. i don't know where you are from ppgnut, or how good the shops are in your area, but you're price quotes are outrageous. it may just be your area. no offense to you, but i'd be looking to go somewhere else.

Mine was $500 for paint & a little bit of body work on the frontend
