Hey guys and gals, the little light in the cubby hole is a #74. Here is where I bought my blue one..... Looks great and is actually pretty bright.....

superbrightleds.com also carries the 74 bulbs in LED, and they also have the ones to replace your blinker, high beam, and cruise indicator lamps, "condom" and all. Has anyone tried to change the bulbs in their locks, mirrors, and windows buttons? Also, has anyone tried the cruise controls on the steering wheel?

I finally changed the gauge lights, too, but it seemed easier the way I did it. I just stuck something down in the back of the "condom" to break the wires that were soldered to each contact, then just pulled out the 194 bulb. Then, I just straightened out the leads of the LED 194 bulb and put them through the same holes that the soldered wires went through. Then I just folded the leads over the contacts, though I would reccomend soldering them if you're not on a tight time schedule. My fiancee, the owner of the car, was already late for work. She wanted them, though, and since she's a chick, rainbow gauges are OK lol. Anyways, as with everything else I do, here is the video of her new "7 color" (since the gauges are blue, it's more like 7 shades of blue, green, and purple, though the red shines through a little bit and lights up the needles, too, you can't see the red very well on the video) LED gauges. As seen in the previous video, her shifter also has the same effect. The video shows the trouble spot at the top of the tach, though it may look a little worse in the vid. I filmed the initial cycle upon startup, and then tried to illustrate what they look like after driving for a while and the bulbs have gotten out of sync.

I know the led on the cruise control is a very small one soldered into the ciruit board behind the button. You could get a small one and solder it in. My button broke so I had to screw the button down to get the cruise to work. That made the cruise led light all the time so I broke it off the board.

how do you get to them?

I think there was a screw on the side of the button but I would have to check.....

Eagle... you rock. I've been trying to work with the oznium LED's in the gauge cluster, but I've found that they direct the light in too tight of an area... so when I pay off this new camera, I'm going to be ordering some stuff from the autolumination website. :)

Shorty, Are the gauges dim around the edges? They kind of looked like it in the video. They are a really cool idea though.

the only time they are dim is when they are red, and then the needles and the red "caution" sections of the gauges are intense red and the rest of the gauges are a dim red. Other than that, they are very legible, with the only trouble spot being at the top of the tach, but it is also legible, just dimmer than the rest.
