i got mat round the lip where the trunk meets the glass, its helping but not much, someone on here has had to come up with something for it, i know theres systems on the site that hit harder then mine

Have you done anything to the part of the trunk lid between the plastic and the metal? I have seen that most of my rattling comes from there. Sound deadening material between the plastic and the metal part of the lid will really help. i did same as vally_olds. except i put that foam that has tape on one side, the stuff that goes around doors to seal it. it worker pretty good. i put thinker foam, and tightened the plastic piece on with screws and washers instead of the plastic clips. it still rattles but not nearly as bad
