I hope so. Michigan people ALWAYS say that.

Plus Amish people could kick your ass, Chris

When I was a salesman for Pepsi, I had 3 stores ran by Menionites(sp) which is what Amish people are, except Amish aren't allowed to have stuff. Anyway I walked thru the kitchen area of this store once and all the women (some were effing hot too) would turn away and not look at me because I was a man that wasn't their husband :o

Mennonites. My mom's whole side is Mennonite. From Kansas. I've never heard of them being that strict about shit but I guess it varies by location.

Nah it will happen. I love getting together with people with the same car, hell it's only an hour and a half drive. I have no reason to not go.

Nah. There's a difference between Mennonite and Amish. Amish are much more strict. Ive been to Penn and seen the Amish in their buggies lol. Nothing like that at all. Mennonites are more about being peaceful, no fighting, etc. They are much like Baptists except for those key points. I won't be Mennonite because if my country called me to fight, like a draft or something, I would fight for my country.

I am coming next year  for the whole time.. If you saw me this year I was leaving for DC that sat. and friday I had work till 6 .. I can't wait to finally be able to attend all the events

cherrington17 08-08-2010 12:15 AM

You can count on me!

.... not being there.

...btw, not to long ago, we had a local amish kid get arrested for being apart of a highspeed chase. IN HIS HORSE AND BUGGY! (he ran a stop sign, then fled) litterally crashed the buggy, and fled on foot.

i can only imagine the buggy smashed into a tree, on fire. and the horse upside down in a ditch... and the cops standing around wondering wtf is going on

for all you naysayers... http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_1...71-504083.html

The kids name is Detweiler. Anyone else remember the cartoon Recess there lol? And they charged him for an overdriving an animal? Hmmm... I didn't know you could get that one.

^ lmao Yeah, you're probably right. But I was obsessed with Megan Fox. I have high standards that I call Morals. That applies to looks, not character.:p
