Did Gm put anything in our cars that "wasn't" shitty

i.e. Window regs, LIMG's, help from peeling dashes, solid soldering in the hazard light switch, lasting power steering pump's, engines with power... etc.. GM didn't really care

the bar is there to prevent air pressure from increseing too much.. like rolling down just one back window and your hear that noise that pops in your ears.. its going to do that constantly.

also Sleepy doesn't he have a WS6 I'm pretty sure Ive seen that one.. it was like white or something with the snow flake sticker right

Jroc26 05-08-2011 08:13 PM

Overall these cars are junk I agree. But that's clearly not a factory sunroof is all I'm saying. Anyways I'm done with this thread this boarder guy is clearly an idiot. Pics from a car show? Really? They're clearly infront of a house genius.

Check the build sheet for your car I guarantee it won't say you have a sunroof. Do you really think gm would put such cheap shitty looking sunroofs in cars from the factory? And aleros all had the same factory sunroof 99-04 they are the same sunroofs that were in cavaliers and sunfires too. I bet you even have a plastic ring that goes around the sunroof on the outside of the car mounted to the roof.

Umm yes

I know but after the whole issue when the 3 car companies not doing well it seems Ford has started to produce a lot better quality than before.

Jroc26 05-09-2011 03:19 AM

Yeah they started a slow upward swing awhile ago but they're going hard now for sure. They're making quality stuff

Here ya go...

BoarderTy 05-09-2011 09:58 AM

Yea my both my aunts and my step mom have aleros and they all have v6s with that sunroof. so maybe they put a different roof into the cars that had teh bigger engines? just my thought.

also the eclipse is pushing about 250hp

sleepyalero 05-09-2011 03:19 PM

Different... but not as much.. oh well as long as I have one im happy lol

Cliff8928 05-10-2011 01:50 AM

It's very different. The factory sunroof is completely flat when closed. The aftermarket ones have the black trim around the edges where it attaches to the roof.
