Just for reference, I'm not a hater on V6's. My dad was just car shopping and I told him to get anything with the Nissan V6 because that is one of the best production engines out right now. Trust me, I'd take that thing over my lil ecotec in a second. |
I think what Daytona is saying is that if you take the 3.0 F1 motor, versus an 3.4 F1 built engine... the 3.4 would put out more power.
Am I reading right Daytona? |
Well, yes, it does make since that a 239872394872342.3 L engine will destroy a 3.0 L. My point is, If I want lets say 170 HP, I'll take it out of a 2.0 L before a 4.0L because that means the 2.0 L is a more efficient engine. Effeciency is good. If I have plans of getting 800hp, i'll take the 4.0L me thinks. And if there was an 8.0L available makeing 800hp vs the 4.0 L making 800hp, i'll take the 4.0L. Thats all I'm saying. F1 cars don't need eleventy billion horsepower, or it gets too dangerous. Thats why they stick with the 3000cc max.

I want eleventy billion horsepower!
Think I can fit enough stickers on my car to get there? |

Oldsmobile VTEC Alero A-Spec GT-R-S V-Spec Supercharged Turbo Stage-II.......powered by Mugen-Nismo-TRD theres your billion. |
^^ but now you need to multiply that by eleventy!
Thats were you start putting NOS stickers everywhere. If your not careful, those stickers could blow your body panels, but they're cheap power. |
MAlero, that's a really good time for the eco...no way in hell would be 2.4 do that...unless i had a few lil mods maybe...but best i ran was a 16.1@87mph(with 18's, prolly next to no difference tho)

Best I have gotten with my 15's is 15.54, 15.555, 15.556 etc.... I know, it weird, I think it is the lack of grip on my factory poop tires. |
